You will work alongside experienced software engineers, data scientists, and quants to build high-throughput systems and data-driven applications that power our pricing models, trading systems, and analytics tools. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your software engineering skills in a fast-paced, technical environment—while also gaining hands-on experience with modern data technologies, real-time systems, and cloud infrastructure.What You’ll Be Doing:Assist in the development of high-performance backend applications using C# and .NET CoreContribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines and servicesLearn and apply best practices in multi-threaded, concurrent, and event-driven programmingSupport the delivery of data-driven applications, including APIs, streaming platforms, and ETL processesCollaborate with senior engineers and analysts to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutionsWrite clean, testable code and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelinesHelp monitor and troubleshoot production systems as part of a collaborative teamWhat You’ll Bring:Software Development Foundations:Some experience writing software in C# or another modern programming languageAcademic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fieldUnderstanding of object-oriented programming and software design principlesA keen interest in learning about performance optimisation and concurrent programmingFamiliarity with Linux environments and command-line tools is a plusInterest in Data Engineering:Solid SQL fundamentals and curiosity about how data is modelled and transformedExposure to Python (or willingness to learn it) for scripting, analytics, or data processingInterest in building data pipelines or APIs that deliver real-time insightsEagerness to learn about streaming platforms like Kafka and cloud platforms like AWSTeam & Growth Mindset:Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to take ownership of your learningEffective communicator who works well in a team environmentInterest in working in Agile teams and contributing to real-world software deliveryNice to Have:Internship or project experience involving backend development, data engineering, or cloud technologiesExposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub ActionsExperience with version control (e.g., Git)Knowledge of the online gaming or sports industryYou’ll be supported by a team of experienced engineers and given real responsibility from the start, along with opportunities to grow into more advanced technical roles.This is what you should have.
