In line with company procedures, the Test Engineer plays a key role in the final stage of production by conducting tests to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and conveyors. This includes verifying the performance of PLCs, sensors, motors, electrical components, and overall machine functionality and conformity with customer requirements. Our Santa Maria da Feira site in Portugal is one of our main production centers, emplying more than 220 passionated people. It specializes in the manufacture of conveyors and packaging equipment, thus contributing to our mission of providing high-quality solutions to our customers all over the world. This site is equipped with the latest technologies and offers a stimulating working environment.YOUR MISSION

Perform functional testing on complex equipment and conveyors
Conduct software and electrical debugging
Configure and parameterize machines according to specifications
Conduct safety testing on equipment to ensure compliance with standards
Read and interpret electrical diagrams
Ensure full machine compliance prior to Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)

YOUR PROFILE

Masters degree in Engineering
Proficient in spoken and written English
Experience with PLC software such as TIA Portal; familiarity with Rockwell and Schneider Motion Controllers is a plus
Knowledge of VFDs, including Danfoss, SEW, and Siemens
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
Knowledge of industrial networks and NAT routers
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including Profinet, Profibus, and TCP/IP
Understanding of basic safety principles in PLC programming and safety-related functions
SAP basic skills as user is a plus
