We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team and play a key role in building advanced real-time solutions.As part of a global team, you will work on electronic trading platforms designed to support traders and clients in high-volume, low-latency environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the global investment industry and IT while working for a leading European investment bank in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of the platform, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experienceCollaborate with team members to design and implement innovative features and functionalitiesEnhance platform performance, security, and scalability to meet demanding business needsDiagnose and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the teamRequirementsAt least 3 years of experience in Java software development, with expertise in core Java conceptsStrong understanding of Java-core principles, including multithreading, garbage collection tuning, and concurrency collectionsExperience building real-time, event-driven applicationsSolid knowledge of test-driven development and continuous integration methodologiesFamiliarity with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and supportAbility to work independently with clients and manage tasks with minimal supervisionProven ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teamsEagerness to learn and adapt to new domain knowledge quicklyExceptional problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challengesFluent English communication skills, both verbal and written, at a B2 level or higherNice to haveExperience with financial trading systems or a background in investment bankingFamiliarity with high-performance computing and optimization strategiesUnderstanding of distributed systems and microservices architectureWe offer/Benefits
