Join us on our journey to #ForeverCaring as a Sales Representative Advanced Wound Care and you’ll drive progress that really means something.About the role:Reporting to the Advanced Wound Care (AWC) Regional Sales manager, the AWC Sales Representative is growing the turnover and market share of the Lisbon area. This role involves the implementation of the commercial strategy across two key sectors: the hospital sector (engaging with users, prescribers, and buyers from both public and private institutions, as well as in-home care services and nursing homes) and the community sector (working with independent nurse prescribers, distributors, service providers, and pharmacies).The Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in educating healthcare professionals, ensuring they are well-informed about the optimal use of our product portfolio.Additionally, the Sales Representative is responsible for ConvaTec’s corporate image towards healthcare professionals and other stakeholders in the area.Candidates must be based in the Lisbon metropolitan area.Main responsibilities:Community EngagementProspect and develop priority targets (HCPs - MDs, Nursing Staff, Pharmacists)Stir and grow the community Health Care Centers business for AWCSet and manage professional meetingsHospital RelationsProspect and develop priority targets (KOLs, Decisors, Purchasers, HCPs)Set-up information sessions for the hospital staffDrive sales negotiations, prepare and manage tenders with the key stakeholdersCreate and develop professional connections with opinion leaders in cooperation with ConvaTec Medical DepartmentCross-Sector InitiativesPromote products and solutions of the ConvaTec AWC portfolioRoll-out action plans and campaignsDrive and report the activity in the CRM toolCapture and transmit vigilance alertsMaintain an awareness of competitive activitiesMain contactsHealthcare professionals (prescribers and purchasers) of hospital and community segmentsHospital Pharmacists, Nurses, Medical Doctors for AWCConvaTec Iberia central teams (marketing, medical, regulatory affairs)ProfileScientific academic background or Healthcare sciences graduation are appreciatedAt least 2-years of experience in a sales role in healthcare or other sales business sectorsExperience with medical devices and prescription market will be appreciatedAutonomy and agilityTeam spiritAvailability to travelEnglish and Spanish at intermediate levelKey competencies
