As project manager, you will be working in close collaboration with the technical experts and line management to accomplish projects on budget and time.How to contribute to our visionAs Blade Project manager you will lead projects with full responsibility for the results, driving the development of technical solutions that are right on time and help improve the competitive position of SGRE in the marketplace. You’ll interact with technical areas and stakeholders placed in an international working environment.You are responsible for successfully executing a great variety of projects within the value chain of blades where you will be expected to
  • Have full project responsibility in terms of time, cost and quality delivered
  • Lead the project teams in close cooperation with the technically responsible engineers, solution owners and Chief Engineers
  • Execute projects in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Technology processes and tools
  • Coordinate with the various technology department, production and procurement as well with external suppliers and partners
What you need to make a differencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for person with a good technical and project understanding. You hold a MSc degree in a mechanical or aeronautical engineering or similar technical field as well as relevant experience in project management. You have working experience in a manufacturing company preferably within the wind, automotive, naval or aerospace industry.Furthermore, you have the following characteristics:
  • Successful track record with project management and leadership
  • A formal project management training is a big plus
  • Living and/or working experience in an intercultural environment
  • Structured and organized and able to lead change
  • Outgoing, determined and persistent with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Motivated by making things happen and at the same time shaping the strategy and direction of the future
