Reporting to the Administration, this Regional Operations Director - Hotels & Resorts will have the following main responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the hotel management teams;
  • Develop, implement and manage strategic policies to ensure high standards of guest satisfaction;
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures;
  • Manage annual budgets for each hotel, monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to maximize revenue;
  • (Re)Define, implement and manage of the sales strategy and strategic positioning of each hotel;
  • Oversee the seamless daily operations of each hotel, ensuring compliance with quality and service benchmarks;
  • Establish effective liaisons with various departments, including finance, marketing and human resources, to ensure seamless operations and communication;
  • Work closely with the executive team to align operational strategies with the company's vision;
  • Cultivate a culture of exceptional guest service, promptly addressing and resolving any issues or concerns;
  • Being close to people and exercising good human resources practices and policies, aiming for sustainable growth.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Management, or a related field is required;
  • Proven experience in the role or similar roles, demonstrating solid knowledge and autonomy in carrying out the tasks mentioned above;
  • Significant experience in luxury hospitality, mainly in resorts environments and nternational experience will be valued;
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
  • Exceptional financial acumen with expertise in budget management;
  • In-depth understanding of industry trends, competitive analysis, and market dynamics;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills;
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to visit and support hotels within the designated region (Portugal);
  • Creativity to redefine strategies, business vision;
  • Ability to lead and develop people;
  • English language (fluent) and Portuguese language (at a very good level) is mandatory.
