- Responsible for understanding the customers objectives and map their business requirements to Signify offerings (products, systems & services)
- Develop and nurture productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned key accounts with the objective of establishing Signify as trusted business partner
- Accountable for entire business with the named account, personally
- driving most important transactions (trade sell-in & important projects)
- Train agents on the customer on new product launches, partner with them to make joint meetings with specifiers and other key stakeholders
- Delivers AOP Sales targets and drives for high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participates in customer and/or industry events as needed
- Deep product knowledge and technical expertise in Lighting or Electrical Materials
- Ability to achieve ambitious sales target and proven capacity to connect and influence customer' s decision making
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) as well as interpersonal skills in English and Portuguese, Spanish is valuable as well
- Ability to interact with others in a professional, courteous and ethical manner, excellent time and territory management
- University degree with commercial (Marketing, …) or technical orientation (Engineering, Electronics, Computer Sciences, …) combined with a track record in selling complex systems, solutions and services in an end user customer environment.
- At least 5 years of proven track record in key account management and value selling principles in a fast-paced technology industry (preferably with background in lighting, building automation or IT/Software/Systems)
- Experience in presenting and selling values propositions to accounts in your target segment by understanding complex sales cycles at strategic/influencing level and in complex eco-systems
- Understanding of financial implications of a solution for the customer and ability to demonstrate the financial outcomes for the investing party (financial & business acumen)
- You are a team player: you bring the right team together leveraging respective areas of expertise. You collaborate efficiently in the matrix organization with a "greater-good" spirit, sharing knowledge and commercial leads where relevant.
