The Role / Responsibilities - Test ManagerWe are looking for a technically proficient Test Manager to lead testing efforts across Product Teams within our Parcels & Xpress Platform.This role goes beyond test management-we need a leader who can automate backend and frontend test cases, drive testing best practices, and set an example for the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, a deep understanding of testing strategies, and a passion for shift-left testing principles.You will be responsible for stakeholder management, test reporting, and dashboard creation to ensure transparency and alignment across teams. Additionally, you will integrate into a dynamic supply chain project, identifying opportunities to optimize testing processes and improve quality standards.Your Responsibilities:Test Strategy Development and Execution:
  • Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies covering functional, non-functional, and data quality requirements.
  • Balance manual testing with automation, ensuring that manual efforts lead to future automation.
  • Lead end-to-end testing processes, from test planning to defect management.
Shift-Left Testing and Test Automation:
  • Champion the shift-left testing approach, collaborating closely with development teams to integrate testing earlier in the development lifecycle, using the Test CoE standard automation frameworks.
  • Lead the integration of test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript) to streamline regression and functional testing.
  • Ensure that automated tests are reliable, maintainable, and provide meaningful feedback to developers and testers alike.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all testing activities, ensuring transparency and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into testing progress, quality metrics, and coverage.
  • Facilitate UAT, ensuring planning and execution are aligned with stakeholders' needs.
Continuous Improvement and Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers across multiple Product Teams.
  • Identify inefficiencies in testing processes and drive improvements.
  • Partner with Platform Owners, Product Owners, Architects, and the Test CoE to define the testing and quality vision.
  • Promote a problem-solving mindset, troubleshooting complex issues effectively.
What You Bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in software testing and test management.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing, with expertise in Playwright
  • Strong knowledge of the shift-left approach, CI/CD pipelines, and defect prevention strategies.
  • Technical understanding of Java, JavaScript, React, MongoDB, SQL, Kafka, and APIs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
