- Implement the introduction and qualification of composite materials (e.g., glass fiber, carbon fiber, resins) to improve blade performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct laboratory characterization and production-scale testing of composite materials.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure effective material integration.
- Implement engineering changes in line with Vestas' ECM process.
- Maintain and update the Vestas Blade Materials Database with high-quality data.
- Deliver material work packages for blade technology and new product development projects.
- Demonstrated experience in working with composite materials and their processing methods, such as infusion, prepreg, and curing.
- Familiarity with APQP and PPAP processes.
- Knowledge of FMEA and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification is a plus).
- Experience in coordinating technical teams and delivering results in a project environment.
- Proficient communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively amid changing circumstances.
- Commitment to sustainability and innovation in materials engineering.
