Your new companyOur client is a European mid-market private capital investment firm with 40 employees headquartered in Madrid and with offices in Lisbon, Milan, Paris and Luxembourg.Our client is a European mid-market private capital investment firm with 40 employees headquartered in Madrid and with offices in Lisbon, Milan, Paris and Luxembourg.Your new roleAs a Controller and reporting directly to the CFO of the Institution the Candidate will be responsible for:

Produce monthly information on liquidity levels / cash rec of all PT entities;
Supervise the performance of all PT entities;
Produce/compile the monthly information required by the external accountants to produce the monthly accounting close of the different SPVs;
In charge of the control of SPVs monthly accounting, taxes and administration (review accounting information produced);
Update and monitor the budget for the PT entities;
Produce the monthly /quarterly information required by the servicers and noteholders of the STC;
Control received invoices from suppliers;
Process payments of monthly invoices;

Assist the team with the external audit the PT entities;

Assist on the production of reporting information required by local Regulators (CMVM and BdP);
Reconciliation of intercompany balances;
Assistance with administrative work for the Portuguese office.

What you'll need to succeedThe Candidate must have:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2years of experience in finance in top-tier accounting firm, commercial bank, private equity, private debt or equivalent.
Understanding of Finance, Real Estate, Accounting and Financial Statements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Full proficiency in Portuguese and English.The Candidate must have:
