Our client in the FMCG - non-food business area is looking for a Brand and Trade Marketing Manager to join the team and manage one of the company's most important categories.SkillsUniversity degree in Marketing, Management, similar area;
3-4 years' experience in marketing, with a focus on trade marketing in the FMCG industry.
Passion / Attitude / Sense of responsibility;
Strong proactive and initiative component;
Results-orientated, with an emphasis on meeting targets and objectives;
Good analytical skills and ability to interpret data and trends;
Demonstrated experience in applying successful trade marketing strategies;
Strong organisational skills and responsibility;
Spirit of collaboration / teamwork.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Head of the Trade Marketing department, you will assume responsibility for the trade marketing strategy within the most relevant category.
Provide vital support to your manager in formulating the strategic plan by conducting thorough and comprehensive brand diagnostics.
Strategically define the point of sale in alignment with the consumer journey to ensure the successful conversion of our products.
Execute and oversee marketing plans to ensure they align with the Ibérica strategy, and lead all Portuguese trade marketing and category activities to bolster brand visibility and stimulate shopper engagement.
Facilitate updates with the Iberia team, identify opportunities for Portugal, and maintain open communication channels for unmet needs.
Take responsibility for material innovation, coordinate with the creative agency, and oversee implementation at the point of sale.
Assist the sales team in motivating wholesalers/retailers, with the objective of maximizing our market presence and business volume.
Provide essential support to your manager in crafting the strategic plan by conducting thorough and comprehensive brand diagnostics.
Offer valuable insights and contributions to enhance the overall strategic vision.
Manage daily budget control, ensuring adherence to financial parameters.
Communicate effectively regarding savings and potential gaps, contributing to timely decision-making.
Engage in negotiations with suppliers of materials and promotional services.
