This is how we enable sustainable mobility and help to prevent accidents caused by human error.Want to join us?Your role:As a Program Buyer Quote Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our programs by accurately costing materials, preparing cost estimations, and maintaining direct contact with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery terms. Your ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different countries and think creatively to improve processes will be essential for success in this role.

Costing materials to ensure that the correct level of components cost is provided on time to support customer changes during the program lifetime.
Prepare accurate and timely cost estimations to support program requirements.
Maintain direct contact with suppliers to obtain the best prices and negotiate favorable delivery terms, aligning with Aptiv's strategy.
Work closely with different teams located in different countries to ensure the best level of knowledge and collaboration.
Support the implementation of Category strategies and assist in the selection of the best cost components.
Actively participate in team meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to decision-making processes.
Demonstrate the capacity to observe and "think out of the box" to provide inputs aimed at improving processes and tools.

Your Background :

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Previous experience in procurement, cost estimation, or a related field within the automotive industry is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Advanced level in Excel is mandatory - PBI skills are a plus.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
