- Assisting the accounting leadership team in overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities of the EU segment, including contributing to the preparation of consolidated financial statements (IFRS) and statutory financial statements.
- Timely and accurately registering invoices (First-In, First-Out) according to the Group's accounting policies and instructions provided by the Accounting, Controllership, and FP&A teams.
- Processing and submitting team members' expenses and reimbursements in adherence to the Travel & Living policy.
- Collaborating with the Controllership team to address missing POs (Purchase Orders) and invoices.
- Reviewing vendor ledger entries and investigating issues with a high level of accuracy.
- Partnering with Procurement, Sourcing, and fulfillment center Inventory Management teams to offer excellent customer service to our vendors by providing accurate and timely responses to their requests.
- Importing bank transaction data, PSP A/R, and IFRS-consolidation entries.
- Posting released invoices and correcting errors, if any.
- Supporting external local accountants in reporting VAT transactions.
- Gathering, summarizing, and analyzing a significant amount of transactional data to facilitate key accounting and business decisions.
- Liaising with the Controllership and FP&A teams to bridge the financial picture from transactions to expected business outcomes.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining internal standards, processes, and routines based on group requirements, and introducing new processes/improvements as deemed appropriate.
- Participating in quarterly physical inventory counts if necessary.
- A region with EUR +30 million in revenue.

- A few years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Controllership functions.
- Preferred experience in consumer products/manufacturing environments.
- Preferred experience with local and European VAT regulation.

- Attention to detail while being able to grasp the bigger picture.
- Proactive, solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
- The ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization, including individuals outside of the finance function, across multiple time zones.
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting (CPA and/or ACCA preferred).
- Public Accounting experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Navision or Microsoft Business Central preferred.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Dutch is a plus).
