You will be working together with other specialists in a global setup that can support you in the execution of the tasks, so strong collaboration and communication skills are required. We are also highly diverse in our organization, so cultural acuity is also necessary.In the role of blade structural engineer, your tasks include:
  • Contribute to technology development projects with regards to blade structures and manufacturing processes
  • Ownership of governing documents for the respective technology, i.e., Design rules, DFMEAs and Verification and Validation plans
  • Work with a value chain approach to optimize the technology in collaboration with different interfaces
  • Establish a clear understanding of design and technology drivers and have a structured approach to expand the boundaries and challenge the state of art
  • Manage projects with internal and external stakeholders and secure good and close communication
What You Need To Make a DifferencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a candidate with a structured approach to tasks, who also can drive several assignments in collaboration with stakeholders both internal as well as external.Your background should be in engineering such as mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar and you hold an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in this area.
  • A thorough basic knowledge in mechanics of composite materials is a requirement for this position.
  • Experience from the wind, aerospace or automotive industry is desirable but is not mandatory.
  • You have fundamental understanding of Finite Element Modelling and simulation and analysis tools like ANSYS/MATLAB.
  • Knowledge on buckling, fatigue and fracture mechanics
  • Knowledge of coupon and sub-structure/component testing methodologies is preferable.
  • You should have good coordination skills to ensure task planning and handling between the many interfaces
  • You should have excellent English and communication skills and be able to communicate your results in a clear and convincing manner.
  • You can see yourself develop in the role both technically and personally.

  • You are outgoing by nature and sees possibilities rather than limitations
