We are seeking an exceptional Senior C++ Developer to join our Electronic Trading team in Lisbon.You will contribute to the evolution of a cutting-edge ultra-low latency algorithmic trading platform, leveraging state-of-the-art hardware integration, optimized processor utilization, and advanced C++ (C++17/20) features. This is a unique opportunity to push technological boundaries, working collaboratively with a global team across multiple locations.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement new algorithmic models and frameworks for ultra-low latency tradingDevelop exchange connectors, market data distribution mechanisms, and platform modulesEnsure platform stability with support, bug fixing, and CI/CD integrationCollaborate with global engineering, business, and support teams for system improvementsInnovate greenfield solutions to address complex trading requirementsOptimize performance through explicit utilization of hardware and software resourcesMaintain high code quality and adhere to architectural best practicesProvide technical leadership and mentorship within the teamAddress critical issues related to trading system reliability and scalabilityContribute to the continuous development lifecycle, from prototyping to productionExecute code reviews to ensure robust design and functionalityRequirements3+ years of software development experience, ideally in trading or similar industriesRecent C++ development expertise (11/14/17/20), with STL and Boost proficiencyStrong understanding of design and architecture principles, including data structures and algorithmsConfident user of Linux with competency in Linux development tools such as cmake, gcc, and gdbBackground in ultra-low latency systems or performance optimization techniquesFamiliarity with financial protocols like FIX or other fintech technologiesGood written and spoken English for global team collaborationNice to haveBackground in Unix scripting, bash, or PythonFamiliarity with FIX protocol or other fintech-specific toolsWe offer/Benefits
