We're Hiring: Compliance & Food Safety Manager (M/F)📍 Location: Odemira | 💼 Food IndustryAre you passionate about ensuring excellence in food safety, quality, and legal compliance? Ensure that all products comply with food safety, quality, and legal standards (BRCGS, Global GAP, customer specifications, etc.);
Create, update, and implement policies and procedures related to food safety and quality;
Develop and manage the internal audit program based on certification and customer standards;
Manage non-conformities and corrective actions, ensuring root causes are addressed effectively;
Lead the HACCP team and ensure the management of the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems;
Oversee environmental management and the company's relationship with national environmental services;
Provide clear and regular communication regarding technical risks in the supply chain and the measures implemented;
Prepare and present KPIs and reporting in line with internal deadlines;
Coordinate the company's Integrated Management System.

What are we looking for?

Good command of English (mandatory);
Previous experience in a technical role within fresh produce or the food industry;
CCP - Certified Trainer;
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and EMAS;
HACCP training (minimum 25 hours) and BRCGS training;
Strong communication and conflict management skills;
Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams;
Critical thinking and customer-focused mindset;
Goal-oriented and proactive approach.
