We are looking to expand our Consulting Services team with the additional of a Digital Business Transformation Services Director. If you have a technical background in the pharma and/or biopharma industry (e.g. quality risk management, process validation, cleaning validation, computer system validation, equipment qualification, etc.), have been involved in digital transformation activities, and have a desire to continue to develop your leadership on these areas, supporting pharma and biopharma companies worldwide on their digital business transformation efforts, this will be an exciting opportunity for you. Liaise with the top players of the pharma and/or biopharma industry on the leadership, execution, and delivery of a wide range of digital business transformation projects in the areas of continued process verification (CPV), quality risk management (QRM), computer system validation (CSV)/ computer system assurance (CSA), equipment qualification and cleaning validation.
Responsible for developing a strategy to implement transformational change which will enable the organization to enhance the delivery of services around digital business transformation, aiming to expand the value around the delivery of ValGenesis products
Responsible for developing an operational approach to deliver the defined strategy, via a set of established methodologies and deliverables
Responsible for disseminating digital business transformation strategy and operational vision across consulting organization, enabling a unified delivery approach across client portfolio

Be recognized within the industry as a “best in class” consultancy service through participation in conferences to disseminate the ValGenesis brand, consultancy services offering, impact to customers, and innovation that the Consultancy team delivers to the industry.
Promotes a customer-centric mindset across the organization and works with the consulting team and with all internal and external stakeholders to guarantee effective project delivery and ensure that all work is technically sound and meets the established contractual requirements.
Contribute to the vision for digital business transformation services and provide service portfolio revision recommendations
Be a key contributor to the pre-sales process to ensure that digital business transformation services match client needs
Contribute to writing of project proposals to new and existing customers, based on the outcome of internal ideas and customer requests (including change orders)
Foster a culture of excellent customer service, with dedicated customer assistance and a mindset of co-creation

Requirements

A Master’s degree in Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a similar degree (a PhD is a plus)
ca. 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and or biopharmaceutical industry
In-depth understanding of pharma and/or biopharma processes
Extensive experience in the areas of process validation, cleaning validation, computer system validation, equipment qualification, or quality risk management
Deep knowledge of pharma and biopharma regulatory ecosystem (cGMPs, ICH guidelines, other industry-relevant guidelines)
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking in problem-solving and decision making
Results-driven, team player, able to deal with multiple projects/tasks
Autonomous, self-starter, and able to take ownership
Proven track record of consensus building and conflict management in challenging situations
Superior problem-solving skills, analytical and strategic thinking
Strong technical writing skills
Strong presentation, written, and spoken communication skills
Proficiency in English (a must-have) and Fluency in Portuguese (preferred)
