Senior IT Business Analyst - Financial Reporting

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate requirements into effective reporting solutions;
• Design and propose innovative approaches to maximize automation in reporting activities;
• Validate deliverables with end users, ensuring smooth adoption and supporting change management;
• Monitor production processes, resolve incidents, and provide support during financial closing periods;
• Perform analysis, documentation, and deployment of developments into production following company standards (SQL & Python);
• Track and report IT activities and incidents with precision and accuracy;
• Participate in an agile setup by contributing to team rituals, backlog definition, prioritization, and continuous improvement;
• Expand knowledge across multiple financial domains (Credit Risk, IFRS9, FINREP, BASEL4, Operational Risk, etc.) in collaboration with international teams in Porto, Lisboa, and Paris.

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
• • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial or reporting sector;
• • Solid knowledge of SQL (mandatory) and familiarity with Python is an advantage;
• • Previous experience in banking or regulatory reporting projects is a plus;
• • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, rigor, and attention to detail;
• • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a client-focused and results-driven environment;
• • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple activities simultaneously, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 or above), and French is a plus;
• Candidates must be based in Portugal and possess either European citizenship or a valid Work Visa/Residence Card - mandatory requirement.
