Would you like to join a finance team with direct impact on business analysis and the validation of its accurate accounting representation?Adecco Recruitment is hiring a Financial Controller for our client, an international group operating in the banking sector.The challengeYou will play a key role in an international Financial Management & Investment Analysis (FMIA) team, focused on analysing business performance and ensuring its accurate reflection in the accounts. This role goes far beyond bookkeeping: it's about understanding what is happening operationally and making sure accounting reflects that reality.Key responsibilities:
  • Analyse the financial performance of the assigned area and ensure the accuracy and consistency of reported data;
  • Validate monthly accounting entries, ensuring the correct financial representation of business operations;
  • Perform financial instruments reconciliations, identifying discrepancies related to interest rates, P&L impacts and other variances;
  • Investigate anomalies and variations, proposing corrective actions and process improvements;
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses to support decision-making;
  • Collaborate with internal teams including accounting, controlling, treasury and operations;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting and analysis processes.
Profile:
  • Degree in Economics, Management, Finance or a related field;
  • Over 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in Controlling roles;
  • Solid knowledge of financial reconciliation and financial instruments;
  • Advanced Excel skills (mandatory);
  • Minimum B2 level of English (required);
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and critical thinking;
  • Leadership experience is valued;
  • Excellent communication skills, team spirit and a willingness to learn in an international environment.
