- Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Has 5 years of demonstrated experience successfully managing medium to large IT projects.
- Possesses 5 years of experience managing project finances, including tracking internal labor costs, hardware costs, software license costs, and external partner consulting costs.
- Demonstrates experience in creating and managing detailed project plans, including project phases, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Has experience managing project scope using a formal change management process.
- Is PMI certified (PMP) or has equivalent certification.
- Has experience managing eCommerce or ERP projects (desired).
- Is proficient in MS Project, MPP tools, JIRA, SharePoint, MS PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Has a solid understanding of project and portfolio management, including knowledge of various project methodologies (agile, waterfall).
- Exhibits excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills to deliver project information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Shows professionalism in communication, appearance, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Is a self-starter with excellent time management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage and prioritize concurrent work assignments.
- Has leadership skills to manage associates and other parties in a matrix environment.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships and deal with conflicts professionally and objectively.
- Can learn new tools and processes quickly and effectively.
- Understands key accounting concepts (capitalization vs. expense) and can effectively manage vendor, contractor, and business partner relationships during the project duration.
- Plan, schedule, and ensure timely completion of medium to large-sized projects related to internal information systems.
- Use the company's project management tool to enter and track project budgets, reserve and allocate technical resources, and coordinate project activities across functional areas within the organization.
- Assign and monitor the work of technical personnel across all phases of the project, including development, testing, and initial support upon implementation.
- Ensure that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor for any risks or issues that appear during the project and work with the project team to implement mitigation plans to resolve them.
- Provide project status updates to key stakeholders, including company executive leadership.
- Facilitate and document RACI and change control processes.
- Set up collaboration tools like Jira for the project team.
- Schedule, prepare material, and facilitate tactical and leadership meetings to report status and progress.
- Facilitate, document, and get sign-off for deployment, communication, training, and business readiness plans.
- Track that testing plans and preparation are documented and executed.
- Manage commercial relationships with hardware and software suppliers.
- Establish contract management procedures and workflow processes, incorporating best practices.
- Provide general guidance to managers regarding contractual terms and conditions and the approved process for the procurement of technology and services.
- Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions, resolve complex issues related to vendor payments, and ensure the timely renewal of maintenance agreements and reconciliation of supplier invoices.
- Use project management best practices and company standards and tools to successfully deliver assigned projects.
