Portfolio Manager

• Our client is a multinational company.
• A new project implementing its hub in Porto.

• Review of proposed investments and divestments;
• Review due diligence on investments/divestments performed by delegated asset managers or investment advisors;
• Control of portfolios exposures and take appropriate action to ensure portfolio compliance;
• Coordinate and supervise delegated portfolio managers and investment advisors during the investment / divestment process;
• Prepare Due Diligence on delegated portfolio managers and investment advisors;
• Cash-flow and position monitoring for funds under management, i.e. capital calls, distributions, capital account statements, etc.;
• Organisation and preparation of the Investment Committees and investment reports for the funds under management;
• Preparation of portfolio performance reviews related to the ongoing portfolio management duties;
• Review and assist in the implementation of valuation models used for the valuation of underlying assets;
• Work alongside the Risk Management team to assist in monitoring investment Key Risk Indicators.

• Strong academics - and ideally a path towards acquiring MSc/MBA/CFA/CAIA;
• Thorough understanding of financial accounting, corporate finance and business reporting;
• Sound financial modelling and understanding of the key financial concepts - DCF, IRR, MPV, ratio analysis;
• Familiarity with a range of specialist due diligence materials and reports;
• Fluent in English; French would be a plus;
• Sound business judgement and an analytical, pragmatic approach to problem solving;
