An IT Support professional makes sure that your company’s computer software and hardware remains functional and accessible for all your employees. By creating tickets and/or working to resolve them, technicians reduce lost work time due to computer issues, increasing productivity and efficiency.
Support staff also gets new employees up and running on the software they need to complete their assigned job duties. In addition, technicians may spot signs of hardware problems before they escalate, allowing your company to replace aging equipment before failures occur.Attend to initial technical support requests, both in person and over via phone chat or ticket, regarding company applications and systemsTroubleshoot computer problems, including identifying the cause (hardware, software, user access, etc.).Guide employees on appropriate actions to takeServe as a liaison between employees and the technology engineering department to resolve more complex issuesDocument resolutions for future referenceSupport to configure hardware and software, operating systems, and applicationsMonitor and maintain computer systems and networksProvide support for the implementation of new applicationsCreate and manage user accounts, ensuring secure access controlMaintain IT equipment asset listsEnsure IT Compliance on Entity Equipments usage (software and hardware)Test and evaluate new technologiesPerform electrical safety checks on computer equipmentMaintain relationships with key functions across all areas of the business to ensure a consistent approach to delivering quality products and IT infrastructureEnsure continuous inventory optimization to meet business needsWork in conjunction with the Business Systems Manager to identify and implement solutions according to business requirements, provide support for inquiries, and share best practice knowledgeAre you a MATCH?Minimum 2 or 3 years of experience in IT supportKnowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and softwareAnalytical skillsKnowledge SAP, Service Now, others APP’s / ERP’s Knowledge will be highly consideredAbility to quickly establish rapport with clients and other professionals, such as software developers.Google WorkSpace Skills (it will be a plus)Intermediate English - MandatoryOur Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
