- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring full compliance with local tax, labor, and social security regulations;
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of payroll professionals, ensuring workload balance, technical development, and performance management;
- Act as the main contact for key clients, building trusted relationships and providing strategic payroll guidance and support;
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure clients' payroll processes and policies remain compliant;
- Review and validate payroll calculations, reports, and tax filings before submission;
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to provide integrated client solutions;
- Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and presentations to prospective clients;
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the automation and digitalization of payroll services;
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with GDPR and firm standards.

- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Law or related field;
- At least 6 years of experience in payroll, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a consultancy or shared services environment;
- Solid knowledge of Portuguese payroll legislation, tax, and social security frameworks;
- Experience with payroll software and systems;
- Strong Excel skills; ability to work with large data sets and reports;
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
