- Develop, maintain, and refine standardized cybersecurity templates for integration into third-party contracts, ensuring alignment with the latest cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
- Provide expert mentorship and support to TPRM assessors during the negotiation of cybersecurity terms in vendor contracts, especially for high-risk or sophisticated negotiations.
- Build and periodically update a cybersecurity contract clause playbook, detailing alternative phrasings and negotiation tactics to aid procurement and TPRM teams.
- Act as the organization's subject matter expert on cybersecurity contract language, staying ahead of industry trends, emerging threats, and changes in legislation and regulations that may impact contract terms.
- Design and deliver training programs to TPRM or other relevant customers on cybersecurity contract clauses, negotiation strategies, and changes in the regulatory landscape.
- Review and analyze the efficiency of cybersecurity clauses in implemented contracts, advising on continuous improvement to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration with legal, procurement, and cybersecurity teams to cultivate a cohesive approach to third-party contract management.
- Engage in professional development activities to maintain a deep understanding of industry standards, regulations, and legislative changes affecting cybersecurity in contract management.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (CISSP, CISM, or similar) preferred.
- Proven experience in contract management with an emphasis on cybersecurity provisions and a detailed understanding of related legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in navigating and interpreting industry standards, regulations, and legislation pertaining to cybersecurity, with a dedication to ongoing education in these areas.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated information effectively to a diverse audience.
