- Coordinating the Materials Department:
- Ensures that all necessary materials to fulfill factory floor production orders are available at the right time and in the right quantities.
- Labor Management on the Factory Floor:
- Just like materials, it's essential to ensure that the factory floor has the required workforce to handle all production orders for the period.
- Supervising Maintenance:
- To prevent or minimize production downtime, ensures that maintenance tasks are up to date and properly carried out.
- Quality Assurance:
- Works closely with the quality control team to ensure that manufactured products meet expected quality standards and are free of defects or other non-conformities.
- Production Quantity:
- Must ensure the company is producing the necessary volume to meet customer orders.
- Cost Control:
- Oversees production expenses, ensuring costs are under control and in line with expectations. Additionally, identifies ways to reduce costs and minimize waste to improve overall company performance.
- Teamwork with Merchandising and General Management:
- Must stay aligned with sales, deadlines, and the company's overall goals and targets.
- RWS Productions:
- Involved in productions certified under RWS (Responsible Wool Standard)
- Degree in Textile Engineering or similar (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management or leadership roles within the textile sector
- Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills
- Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with certifications such as RWS is a plus
