Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leaderWe pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people.Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThe Automation and Robotics Process Engineer is a member of the ME team.He/She is the support for Automation and Robotics linked to existent and new equipment in Division Foam plants.The main missions are :

Handle and coordinate all the process aspects in Robotics and Automation with the Team

Automation Process diagnostics and ImprovementProblem SolvingMachine Connectivity and Digitalization

Propose “Prouf of Concept” for New Process or Process Digitalization and Automation
Define in Collaboration with the Team:

The standard generic solutions for world-wide deploymentThe process rules for Automation and Robotics

Lead industrial project for retrofit of production equipment or new equipment within Robotic and Automation scope

Lead the key supplier of his domain or projectWrite detailed specification for a new machine - Focus on Automation and RoboticsSupport the preparation for Investment list for his projectSupport Setup and commissioning phase of new machines with the proper validationManage the acceptance of the machine in term of performance and safety

Support the Program Manufacturing Leaders and Process Engineers for new projects

Your profile and competencies to succeedQualificationsMinimum Education Level:

Master of Engineering (Electrotechnical, Mechatronics, Automation)
Training in Robotics (Fanuc and Kuka as a Plus)
Training in Automation (Siemens TIA Portal, STEP7 as a plus)

Experience:

Experience in industry
1 to 2 years of experience with robotics and automation
Equipment Design and specification

Skills and competencies:

Training and experience in Automation (Siemens TIA Portal, STEP7 as a plus)
Training and experience in Robotics (Fanuc and Kuka as a Plus)
Notions of Artificial Vision
Good programming Skills, C-sharp, VB.NET or Other
Ability to build and follow a detailed planning.
English mandatory/ Portuguese or French as a plus
Strong Teamwork
