- Responsible for suppliers' quality concerns, managing complaints in a timely manner with the active participation of suppliers.
- Consolidate the quality performance indicators of the suppliers required for the plant and communicate them to the Plant Quality Manager and the Serial Life Buyer.
- Collect and evaluate the supplier's Certificate of Analysis (COA) and schedule a random inbound inspection to confirm compliance of the supplier's shipment, based on current performance and potential risk to the customer.
- Schedule the incoming inspection when the supplier or product is on trial.
- Conduct product or process audits of suppliers' site based on performance or specific customer requirements.
- Update and communicate the Plant Red List of suppliers (the 5 worst suppliers) and formally notify suppliers of their status in coordination with the Serial Life Buyer (e.g., containment, escalation)
- Timely manage and maintain the supplier's quality problem (QP) in the quality management system (QSS) database.
- Request support from the Supplier Quality and Development (SQD) group for an escalated issue.
- Support to PC&L for situations related to material receiving or planning issues (e.g., over or under shipment, incorrect labelling, etc.)
- Review the entry process for new goods or suppliers based on the input of the Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer (ASQ) and the Program Quality Leader (PQL).
- Write incoming inspection instructions for all products and preserve associated boundary samples.
- Work with ASQ engineer to transfer the new PPAP package of incoming goods from the development phase to series life (purchase functional milestone #7 at the latest)
- Timely manage and maintain APQP/PPAP files in the PPAP database for any product/process engineering changes during serial life.
- Manage SQA's and Incoming teams.
The ideal candidate will have/be:Minimum education level: Bachelor or Degree in Engineering (preferential), or equivalent;Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in a production environment (Quality - preferential)Skills and competencies:
