- Designing the architecture of the Central Purchasing Solutions (strategy, roadmap and implementation);
- Orchestration and integration of all components for the Central Purchasing Solutions considering the overall IT strategy;
- Drive technical integration scenarios for the Purchasing Architecture Landscape including Master Data Integration, SAP R/3 and S/4 Backend integration considering the Continental Infrastructure and IT Strategy. Standard integration to the connected SAP systems being used by the Group Sectors within Continental;
- Provide technical integration scenarios to connect further cloud solution and support interoperability;
- Sizing of the Core Purchasing Applications with zero unplanned downtime and high availability;
- Providing high performance E2E to provide best in class user experience;
- Continuous improvement of the existing technology targeting “state of the industry”;
- Leading the technical Maintenance for the global Purchasing applications. This includes the maintenance strategy, roadmap and its implementation;
- Service owner for the System Operation of the Continental Group SAP Systems SAP Portal, SAP SRM, SAP SRM SUS, SAP S/4 (MDM, Procurement Hub);
- Lead Safeguarding measurements. Ensure IT security, IT compliance and Enterprise Architecture Management principles;
- Coordination of the technical teams and experts from SAP System provider, SAP Basis, Infrastructure and SAP Group Sectors;
- Supports the selection process for the main components;
- Supports infrastructure in the maintenance of the underlying components;
- Ensure the E2E monitoring and the monitoring of the interfaces;
- Technical Lead and Coordination for the external staff;
- Project lead for Cross Group Sector project.
- University degree in Computer Science, Economics or related qualification;
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the IT area (SAP and or Non SAP applications);
- Several years of work experience in IT Projects (agile and waterfall);
- In-depth knowledge of Source to Pay processes and solutions;
- Experience with SAP SRM / MM;
- Experience with leading Purchasing Suite providers (is a plus);
- IT Service Management experience (is a plus);
- Proficient English language skills (written and spoken);
- Interest in new technologies towards digitalization;
- Very efficient, reliable, and responsible way of working;
- Very good communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to cooperate with globally distributed teams – internal as well as external;
- Highly self-motivated, assertive and skilled at resolving conflict as well as high customer service orientation;
- Willingness for occasional business trips (up to 15%).
