Location: Lousado, Portugal (Hybrid work model)Continental is looking for an IT Consultant - Purchasing Digitalization to join its Sales, Logistics and Finance Information Technology Competence Center. As part of the digital backbone of the Tire business, this role will play a key part in supporting and shaping the digital transformation of the global Purchasing function.Key Responsibilities:Support IT implementation projects in the purchasing domainLead workstreams and smaller-scale projects, ensuring high-quality delivery within scope, time, and budgetDevelop and manage communication plans, keeping stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and issuesEnsure alignment with Continental's IT standards and compliance rulesAct as a functional and technical consultant, contributing with process know-how and IT expertiseCollaborate across globally distributed teams in multiple time zones and cultural contextsSupport the digital transformation of Purchasing processes and toolsAssume IT Service Ownership for Purchasing-related IT servicesYour Profile:Degree in Computer Science, Economics, or related fieldSeveral years of experience in IT projects (both Agile and Waterfall methodologies)Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay processesExperience with SAP MM / SRM; knowledge of additional Purchasing Suites is a plusExperience in IT Service Management is a plusSolid communication and presentation skillsProficient in English (spoken and written)Interest in digital transformation and emerging technologiesOrganized, efficient, and responsible with strong customer orientationStrong collaboration skills with ability to work across internal and external global teamsWillingness to travel occasionally (up to 15%)What We Offer:Integration in a challenging and international work environmentHybrid and flexible working modelAgile and collaborative working cultureContinuous learning and development opportunities, including mentoring and access to Continental's internal Software AcademyPersonalized development plans aligned with your career goalsA globally distributed and diverse team with opportunities to make a real impactWe are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and valued.
